02.15.17 W.W. Williams Acquires Auto Safety House

Columbia West Capital is pleased to announce the acquisition of Auto Safety House, based in Phoenix, Arizona, by W.W. Williams of Columbus, Ohio.  

Founded in 1941, Auto Safety House (“ASH”) is the exclusive Thomas School Bus dealership in Arizona which includes new and pre-owned bus sales serving a majority of the school districts in the state. ASH also holds distribution rights to over 30 other leading equipment brands including manufacturers like Knapheide, Kargo Master, and Reading as well as parts and maintenance for all makes of trucks, trailers, buses, vans, and RV’s. Auto Safety House operates three locations and mobile services in Phoenix, Tucson and Holbrook, Arizona.

Founded in 1912, W.W. Williams is one of the nation’s largest industrial distribution, repair, and servicing companies for on-highway truck fleets, off-highway equipment users, Department of Defense, OEMs, U.S. Military, and many other clients. The company provides customers with warehouse and supply chain management solutions, technical/mechanical service and repair, and remanufacturing.  

David Barnett and John Farr of Columbia West Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor to Auto Safety House during this sale process. Stephanie Fierro of The Radix Law Firm and Dan Hughes of CBIZ MHM also represented the sellers. Terms of the transaction are not being disclosed.
